d’Hive · Public pilot

A short guide

How d’Hive works

This prototype is a structured public notebook: it records the case for and against choices, what people predicted, and what happened later.

1

Start with a neutral issue

A steward describes the policy question without assuming the answer.

2

Build a structured record

Members add proposals, arguments, evidence, forecasts, metrics and comments. Related contributions stay linked.

3

Use attention carefully

Free members receive 5 actions each week, Pro members 20, and organisations 100. A new contribution or vote costs one action.

4

Changing your mind is welcome

Changing a vote from Support to Oppose—or back—is free. Withdrawing a vote returns its action for use anywhere.

5

Lock the expectations

When a policy is enacted, d’Hive freezes an immutable copy of the issue, primary metrics and forecasts.

6

Record what happened

Later observations are appended beside the original expectations, so hindsight cannot quietly rewrite the past.
